Accounting Manager / Managing a team for accounting consulting services (financial analysis, internal controls) for Japanese clients / Accounting/Auditing

Responsibilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals to provide excellent service to our Japanese clients.
* Oversee consulting engagements related to accounting, including financial analysis, internal control testing, and
risk assessments.
* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, reports and related documents for clients.
* Ensure that all accounting and financial reporting is in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and
accounting standards.
* Provide guidance and support to clients on complex accounting issues and questions.
* Manage and coordinate internal and external audits for clients.
* Review and oversee payroll processing and compliance.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Japanese clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any
concerns or issues they may have.
* Conduct regular meetings with the team to review work progress, provide guidance and training, and ensure
high quality service delivery.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
* CPA certification required.
* At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a management position.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Preferred

* Experience in consulting, bookkeeping, payroll, company set up, internal control testing support, and internal audit support services is preferred.
