ResponsibilitiesSummary

Responsible for, but not limited to setting-up/operating assigned machinery. The Set-up machinist ensures that the machine runs smoothly and is appropriately maintained. The essential role of a Set-up machinist is to set up production machines following prints and specifications and to inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



* Use drawings (blueprint), specs and instructions to operate CNC Machinery.
* Document processes pertaining to running and/or improvements made to set up or operate assigned machines.

* Sustain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
* Responsible for the general maintenance and clean-up of the shop.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving tooling, materials, programs, equipment, and part specifications.
* Identify and recommend changes to part specifications to improve machine ability.
* Perform other job-related duties.

SalaryAnnual Salary：USD 67,000 〜 70,000
Base salary: $28/hr or $67k-$70k/annual. Bonus: Sales commission, Profit share.

Requirements* Must be ableto lift 50 lbs.
* Basic math, writing and computer skills.
* Must be able to set up/run multiple machines.
* Must be able to read prints e.g., able to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
* Be able to inspect their own parts and be proficient with inspection tools.
