Responsibilities
Position Purpose
Maximize sales and profitability while enhancing guest and employee satisfaction through comprehensive store management and the implementation of advanced operational standards.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement advanced store operation manuals, service theories, and food management protocols on the floor.
• Provide hands-on coaching and OJT for FOH and BOH staff to ensure strict adherence to sanitation and safety procedures.
• Manage weekly labor schedules based on sales forecasts to optimize staffing and comply with labor laws.
• Control inventory levels, execute purchasing, and conduct physical inventory counts to minimize waste and optimize COGS.
• Act as the primary contact during Health Department inspections and enforce company SOPs and local compliance.
• Drive local marketing initiatives and manage P&L to achieve sales targets and maximize net profit.
Professional Development and Experience
• Gain expertise in global-standard operational systems and sanitation standards from a major Japanese restaurant group.
• Develop advanced P&L management and local marketing skills in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
• 2 or more years of restaurant management experience with hands-on OJT capabilities.
• Experience in weekly scheduling, inventory purchasing, and COGS management.
• ServSafe Manager and BASSET certifications, or ability to obtain them post-hire.
• Business proficiency in English and experience with POS, scheduling, and inventory software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 8-10 hours, and work in varied temperatures.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
